Haiku For You, eh?
Haiku from the Northwoods to those less fortunate,
who, unfortunately, must live somewhere else . . .
Bond Falls @ Paulding, Michigan
Huge, dark stones echo
Rushing water’s Autumn song.
Majestic duet !
Saturday Morning in a September Lawn Chair
From a crisp blue sky,
Ripening apples call down
To those on the ground.
Taking the ‘9-15’(08) Home
The honking grows loud
As gridlocks of geese fly by.
Beautiful commute.
@ 8:04 on a September Evening
He’s in the end zone!
One side cheers, the other groans.
Small town Friday nights.
Labor Day, 2009 by Lake Superior
Sea greets evening sky
With a soft, horizon kiss.
The sky blushes pink.
On Being Evergreen
Autumn’s color hides
The pines. But who is it, then,
That colors winter?
You & Me . . .PermaFrost?
Cold, silent days pass,
Making long, glacial years . . .
. . . where’s global warming?!
A Late October Lunch Hour
The sun is snuggled
Under grey, feather-edged clouds
While I walk home cold.
Winter’s Gift
The harsh snow lies deep
Showing the chariot tracks
That carried me home.
