Blindly.
And with great enthusiasm.
For lo . . . I am, officially, a published author.
Of course, I haven't sold a book yet but one step at a time, eh?
How did this happen, you ask?
Please.
Ask.
Okay, I'll tell you.
I meet a guy on the final day of the Gideon Film Festival last year among the rolling hills of North Carolina.
His name is Donald James Parker.
Don read my screenplay while there and when we got back to our homes, he sent me his.
We were emailing each other back and forth when he stated, "Too bad you haven't written a book. I have a small publishing house."
To which I replied, "Funny you should bring that up. I have."
About four years ago, Sister Here and Sister There, well more Here than There, were persistent that I write a book.
"Here's an idea," said Sister Here with a smile that turned from an angelic cherub to a drill sergeant's maniacal snarling grin,
"Now - DO SOMETHING WITH IT!".
A few rewrites, a little scrubbing, rearranging, and - voila.
Another paperback for the masses.
The faith-based masses, anyway.
It's called "The Fleeing Tiara", the 1st book in the Jackson Family Adventure Series.
And we'll see.
It could be the last one, too.
It's about a Christian homeschooled family, an irritating cousin, a posh hotel with a ghost legend, royalty, terrorists, and God's provision. Yeah. Really.
It's available in Kindle format at Amazon.com and the paperback is at Don's publishing house, Sword of the Spirit Publishing.
Goggle 'em and see what you think.
Anyway, enough of this shameless self-promotion.
Back to blogging.
Oh.
And beware of the aerial pork.
