This time my mind, shoved politely in the back by the Elixir, ran smack into the Cloud.
The Cloud. That place where your computer goes to store things, find things, and retrieve things.
I wonder if that's the place where all those single socks go. Straight from the dryer to the Cloud.
Huh.
A swig of Elixir brings another Cloud to mind. A big Cloud. A Cloud that led Moses and his sometimes-happy band away from Egypt.
Now that's a Cloud, eh?
I start to compare the two.
The iCloud and the I-AM Cloud.
One stores a lot of information.
The Other invented information.
One is accessible from any computer or smartphone, 24/7, 365.
The Other is accessible unplugged, no wifi needed - just a willing heart - every moment of my life.
The iCloud protects my info off-site, here on Earth.
The I-AM Cloud protects my info, my soul, and my dreams off-site, off-Earth, where there's no rust, moths, Chinese cyber terrorism, or
EMP solar flares.
We all make the decision as to which cloud we'll put our trust in.
But when was the last time the iCloud died for me? Or you?
Yeah.
The Ancient way is the best tech out there.
And I don't need any sacrificial RAM. Not anymore.
